Hi-It's a long shot without knowing what part of Ireland you're dealing with-but I did have a great uncle William O'Flagherty-brother of my g grandmother Mary Sarah O'Flaherty-there was another brother Edward-I know that Sarah was born abt1840's in Claddagh (just outside of the city of Galway)-I haven't anymore info than that she married John Ryan and had abt 8 children who emigratedt to the US and to Australia-Francis Ryan-my grandfather cane to NY abt 1875-John-to Australia 1900-died there abt 1910-
