How exciting to stumble across your posting regarding O'Flaherty's in Little Blue MO. I am one of the KC O'Flaherty's- My grandmother was Rosella M O'Flaherty -but will have to research any connection between my relatives and your little town. How long have you owned the hotel?
There was an article I found while doing other research that mentions reference to Little Blue. Arthur Paul Moser wrote a Directory of Towns, Villages and Hamlets Past and Present of Jackson County, Missouri. "Little Blue is on the Missouri Pacific R.R. It had one store, a school house; was a "station," had a telegraph office and several other houses. (--History of Jackson County, 1881, p. 368)"
It seems like I have come across other info in the past. I will look around for more.
