Early Ogans in America 1677-1750
Hi Rooters,
I read Sharon Ogan's message last week and thought I'd stir the pot a little. Here are some of the early Ogans I have listed in my files. So far I have not linked any of these to any of my ancestors. The furthest I can go with any certainty is Thomas Ogan born about 1741, probably in Virginia. He served in the Revolutionary War and spent the dreadful winter of 1777-78 at Valley Forge.
If you can firmly link with solid proof any of these names to Ogan families of today, please let me know.
