Looking for information on the above, who are listed as grandchildren by Allen Hines of Franklin County, NC, in a deed of gift dated 8 February 1828.
In his will dated 28 January 1826, he refers to the children of his daughter Nancy Ogburn.
I'm not sure of the name of Nancy's husband; however, in 1822 a John Ogburn was mentioned as a buyer at the sale of the estate of Wilson Denson in Franklin County.
Allen Hines was originally from Surry/Sussex County, VA. Nancy would be his daughter by his first wife, Frances Williams.
