ETHA HELBERT
ETHA HELBERT, 93, formerly of 818 King Road, died at Samaritan Hospital this morning after a short illness. She had been a resident at the Brethren Care Nursing Home.
The daughter of WILLIAM and ELIZABETH MYERS SHIDLER, she was born Aug. 11, 1885, in Ashland County, and was a resident of the county most of her life.
She was married March 8, 1908, to GLENN HELBERT, who preceded her in death June 27, 1977.
Surviving are two daughters, BETTY J. HOLZAEPFEL of Iowa City, Iowa and ELIZABETH ZEDAKAR of Youngstown; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
MRS. HELBERT was a member of the First Christian Church and Halcyon Club.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Ashland Cemetery conducted by the Rev. Donald B. Taylor.
There will be no calling hours. Gilbert Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
