1850 Ashland County, Ohio census, Clear Creek Township.
Abraham YOUNG, age 69
wife, Mary age 40.
Children:
George T. or F., age 19
Jaeel or Jacob, 17
John, 15
Abraham, 12
Samuel, 9
Jossah, 7
William, 5
Henry T. or F, 3
I am trying to find out if anyone has this family and knows anything about them. I think the Henry may be the one I am searching for. I have not been able to find and or prove anything except for the Missouri connections that I know.
I have him in Chariton County, Missouri and know who his children are. Just have not been able to figure out who his parents may be.
With the age of Abraham there was little hope he would be in the 1860 census and he was not. I did not find Mary listed or at least one of her age in Asland Cty. Ohio. I did find an Abraham that was 22 and he was farm labor in Marion County, Ohio. That would be the correct age. That was the only Abraham in the state that would fit the age of the individual.
I am now trying to find the seperate in the 1860 census and have not done so yet. AT least not that I can prove beyond a doubt.
