Following is a voter's list from Athens Twp., Athens Co., Ohio, which I transcribed from a list published in the Athens Messenger 1878. The date was very difficult to read, but after comparing with other numbers on the page, I decided it was 1815. Of course, there are probably transcription errors, but for what it is worth, here it is:

We append by request, the official list of voters of Athens Township for the year of 1815, and to which reference was made in the preceding issue of the Messenger. We preface that Athens Township as constituted in the year 1815 named included about half of the present limits of the county.
