Edward Dickerson is in the Athens County, Children's Home #343, father's name, John Dickerson, mother is Louisa Dickerson. He was indentured May 9, 1892 to W. M. Sapp of Pleasanton, Athens County, Ohio after being admitted to the children's home on March 25, 1892. John and Louisa (Jeffies/Jeffreys) were residents of Meigs County, Ohio who moved to Jackson County, WV. John Dickerson died in Jackson County, WV September 1908 in the poor farm. I don't know what happened to Louisa and I can't find a death date or place for her. Maybe she died and that is why the youngest son, Edward, ended up in the Children's Home? They also had other children, Eliza and John Dickerson. Both Eliza and John are found in Jackson County, WV with their father. What happened to the mother and to Edward? I can't locate either in the census, and with only the initials of W. M. Sapp, I'm finding it impossible to locate any information on him. Any help at all much appreciated. Thanks
