Thank you very much. I have recieved the obit for Clara Featherstone. As for other research I am trying to track down an obit or death record of Louisa/Eliza Phillips and Alvah James Phillips. The last record I can find was of Eliza Phillips living in the Layhua Household with some of her children in Rome Twp in the 1880 Census. I'm assuming this to be the Big Run Area near what is now Featherstone Rd as my Dad was born there and my Granparents and Great Grandparents lived in that area. She is listed as divorced in the census. The last record I've found of Alvah James Phillips is in 1875 in Morgan County on the birth record for Clara. My Great Grandfather was William Montgomery Phillips who went by "Munn" Phillips. He was the eldest son of Alvah James and Louise/Eliza Phillips and the brother of Clara Featherstone (Phillips). His Obit in 1923 lists him as the son of James and Louise Phillips, but does not give any indication as to whether they were alive or not at the time of his obit. I have one obit from 1919 for a Louisa Phillips in Albany but it is not the one I'm looking for. Anyway, Thank you for your assistance. I grew up in Athens County but now live in Tennessee so a lot of times I have to rely on kindness of others for help.
