Any query placed anywhere needs 3 specific parts....1) a full name, both given and surnames 2) a geographic location
3) some sort of date. Many of us have lot of resources, but without knowing when people lived, it's impossible to know where to look for them - all genealogical resources only cover certain timeframes, and an idea of when people lived is necessary if you want others to look for them.
