Mary Greathouse is a grandmother (four greats back) and I would love to know for certain if she is a daughter of Harmon Greathouse Jr. or another Greathouse. She was born about 1790 in St. Clairsville, Belmont County, Ohio. She married John Parsons in St. Clairsville in 1804 and moved to West Virginia with him. Harmon Greathouse (wife, Marcy Bukey) had a daughter, Mary, born about 1790 but he was living in West Virginia, so was Marcy visiting/staying in Ohio at the time of Mary's birth or was another Greathouse family her parents? This is one of the mysteries I would love to solve.
