Death records for Belmont Co pre 1908 are also housed at the Courthouse in ST Clairsville in Probate court. Death certificates often contain great info...where a person died, and when..who their parents were and where they were from...and, sometimes, the place of burial. If you find a date, you could then check to see if you could find a local newspaper obit.
