There are two Wegee cemeteries. Lowere Wegee is along side the Wegee Creek. Upper Wegee Cem. is up Cash Hill Rd. and next to a Methodist Church. I have a couple of photos posted at "Find a Grave". I also posted an "over all" photo of each cemetery, with it's respective signage ~ Upper / Lower Wegee Cemetery.
I've taken photos of most of the tombstones at Upper Wegee. The older ones were transcribed in the 50's. I hope to publish the photos some day.I believe a Mrs Dungan is on the Cemetery committe, but I don't have her phone no.
The MyFamily Belmont Co. site, which is private, has thousands of photos from over 100 Belmont Co. cemeteries. It also has a link to a google map, for each one. Many photos from the Wegee Cemetery are posted there. Many family connections use this site to gather more Belmont Co. information. It has over 500 members interested in Belmont Co. and we help each other.
