Jim, I checked *Tombstone Inscriptions and Family Records of Belmont County, Ohio,* by Esther Weygandt Powell, 1968. Considering the date that she published the book, and that she was concentrating on older stones (not a complete listing), maybe it's not surprising that I couldn't find a Mallett at all. Sorry. There might be other books that cover Union Cemetery, but I haven't heard of them.
