I need info on the old Gallia County CCC Camp. It's one of the places my father was stationed(was there in 1935). He was with Co 511 and under the project identification it only has War Dept. (as opposed to the usual designations).
Anyone with any info on this camp/company ...or advice about where to look, please respond. I've already written to someone with the Gallia County Historical Society asking for help and was TOTALLY IGNORED so obviously That's not an option.
I don't need to know how to get his records...I already have his original service records, I'm searching for info on the Camp and the Co.'s activities during 1935. I would like to know if there's any way to find out HIS specific training & activities at each place he was stationed.
