Marian..will get back to you tomorrow. I did a little research on your Benjamin etc because of the possible connection. Need to find the papers. I have found out in the past couple of months that years of research was for naught because of improper research done by someone else. I am not the grandaughter of Zachariah Walker and Sarah/Sally Barngrover as previously recorded but the grandaughter of Zachariah Walker and Sarah Unknown. Perhaps Barngrover was a first wife but I doubt it. Tell me what you know about Benjamin. He was born in 1820 you said in Greene county. He is of the age to be a son of Zachariah or a son of a brother. I know that he is not a son because I have an estate/will records that show the children of Sarah and an estate of Zachariah that only lists the elder children and Sarah in 1841. The rest of the children were small. According to most of the census reports of the children, they say that Zachariah was born in Maryland. What does Benjamin say ont he 1880 census report? Will get back to you. Susan Walker Fenn p.s. by the way, my father submitted his DNA to the Walker study because he is a direct male descendant of Zachariah. Have to send in his pedigree and it will be online soon. SusanDFenn@comcast.net
