Hello, In 1880 we have Benjamin Walker b. 1821 living in Jackson, Pickaway county, ohio with Leutitia (his second wife). All of his kids were grown then. However the 1860 census shows him living in Greene county, Ross township,Grape Grove postoffice, with William (son born 1844, my husband's great grandfather), Jemima b. abt. 1846, Sarah b. abt. 1847, and Joseph b. abt. 1849. His first wife was dead, we think she was Rebecca North. We have letters written to William from Benjamin and Jo (Joseph) and they were talking about Sarah getting married to a Furnace. Benjamin also talked about a "Uncle Jo". But, we have had a lot of trouble finding Benjamin's father. We thought it might be Zacharia at one point then realized that wasn't him. Robert makes sense because Benjamin was supposed to have been born in Greene county, Sugar Creek township and there was a Robert Walker in that county at the first of the century. We also show Benjamin living in Ross township, Greene county, in 1850, with Rebecca (wife), William, Jemima, Sarah, and Joseph. It shows Benjamin to be a shoemaker, born in Ohio and his wife born in Pennsylvania. One of the census states that Benjamin's father was born in Maryland!
