Susan, It really seems that our Benjamin Walker was probably a cousin to your Walker ancestors, as it is probably more than coincidence that they all lived in the same area of the state and named their children after each other. We have a copy of a page from Benjamin's bible that lists in his handwriting the births of his children.
It also mentions a George Walker and says that the bible was a gift to him from his cousin "Catherine". The bible page is courtesy of descendants of Benjamin's daughter Sarah, Mr. and Mrs. H.E. Lefevre from Maryland, USA. However they did not know who Benjamin's father was.
