Thank you, Mary!! That was a Greene County website I had not found on my own! A new treasure! Thank you for pointing it out. I will need to check it with some of my other names. I did not find Seloa Middleton -- or her by another name -- on that website in a cursory search. I just recently found some information about Pearl Anette Durnbaugh. She married William Lewis Trubee on 26 Nov 1903. On the 1910 Census, they are shown with no children and the census indicates Pearl has had no children, living or dead. On the 1920 Census, they couple is shown with daughter Sylvia Pearl Trubee who is aged 19! To backtrack in time, in the 1900 Census, prior to Pearl marrying Trubee, Pearl Durnbaugh is listed as living with her parents and a 3 month old "granddaughter" named Seloa/Selva P. Middleton. The name is difficult to read -- I believe it to be Selva. Pearl is not depicted as having had children, but her mother only had two children and the other child is Pearl's brother Wilbur Durnbaugh. Therefore, this grandbaby must be Pearl's child. I am still trying to find/verify the birth records for Sylvia Middleton/Trubee. Thanks for your help, Mary!
