The Middle Run Cemetery has a Joshua Carmen buried there. He is the son of Baptist preacher Joshua Carmen who served several churches in Kentucky and southern Ohio. It is an active cemetery with a church preservation there (not active as a church). Preacher Joshua Carmen is buried near Bellbrook in a small cemetery. The church that is near his burial is called a Primitive Baptist one but is NOT one that follows the old school Baptist practice. It likely did when old Joshua was serving there but the original church is gone. I think it is Fairview but not certain...only about a mile from Bellbrook limits. Middle Run Primitive Baptist Preservation, Inc. is about five miles out, near the Warren County line. Very active preseration membership since deeded in Sept. 2004. Always looking for new members to support.
