How many in this forum are familiar or have access to Carol Willsey Bell's book: Ohio Wills & Estates to 1850: An Index? This book was published in 1981.
It has excellent sources for each county's records, many of which now reside in some 8 sites around the state of Ohio known as the Ohio Network of American History Research Centers. This network was formed in 1970 and is comprised of 8 units: two historical societies and 6 universities.
This book is an excellent beginning source for locating primary documentation of your Harrison county ancestors.
