I was searching for something in my back issues of "Roots and Shoot', the SOGS newsletter, and found this in Vol 21, # 1, spring issue of 1999. It may be of interest to you.
The grave marker of Edward Chaney, Jr., son of Edward Chaney, Sr. (b ca. 1745 MD, d 1813-14 HCO) has recently been located in Grassy Run Cemetery, Wilson Twp., Clinton Co., Ohio. He died 7 Aug 1871, aged 90y 2 m 10d. This marker was not mentioned in the 1978 compilation of cemetery inscriptions of Clinton Co. For more on this family, see "The Chaney Families of Highland County, Ohio" by Richard Flinn, 1996.
There was another book of inscriptions for Clinton done since then but I do not have a copy. They left out my great-grandmother's stone in both books so I never bothered buying either one.
