I am sure that James and Sarah and Family moved to Kansas from Ohio.
sarah/sally died soon after the arrived here, and Samuel died soon after that.
James is buried next to his son, about 10 years or less after getting to Kansas.
It has been the last part of the way, that I need to find James' parents names.
I can not seem to find out who they are and thought that if I came to Ohio, to that area, maybe some records might remain some where to clue me in.

also, if you just type in Mortimer Jeffies into the brower you use, it will bring up how he was more Irish really then Indian, but he was listed as black, and fought the surpreme court in the mid 1800's to change that. He is also related to my Bass'.
if you have any idea on where i might check out to get the last brick broke I would appericate it.
