Kay,
Thank you for the information. From the census data I have found he kept saying he was born in Ohio and other distant relatives were originally from Logan, OH in Hocking County but I can't find any trace of Bertram Nolen Ruble. I can find a birth certificate for a "Delbert Ruble" around the same time but can't put 2+2 together yet.
