I won't be able to check the 1840 census tonight, but, I did find 2 articles written on a David Wood in 2 newspapers in 1875. One in the New London Record, Aug 19, 1875 pg. 3; One in the Norwalk Reflector Aug 18, 1875 pg 5 col. 3.There is a death record listed for a David Wood in Huron County Aug 15, 1875. Shirley
