Sandusky Daily Starr newspaper (Sandusky, Erie County, Ohio) dated Saturday, September 22, 1900, page 4, has a submission that the name of Frank Adelbert Speaker has been changed to Frank Adelbert Kelley and he has been designated as the heir of Henry Kelley of Milan. Huron, Ohio & Milan, Ohio are located in Erie County since 1838/1840. Any of these records would be in that county. I found nothing in Huron County on this matter. It does state a last name for Frank's birth parents but there is nothing on Frank's death cert. that indicated the birth place or ethnicity of either birth parent. Without a more definite death date for the father, it would be very time consuming to scour newspapers for the year 1857 to possibly find information on this father's death. Birth and death records were not mandated until 1867 in Ohio. Marriage records, however, are there. Good luck, Shirley Hazelwood
