I would love to hear from anyone with information on John Beard born January 31, 1782 in Virginia. He died 4-18-1859 in Clark County, Illinois. He married Ann Elizabeth Unknown before 1821. She was born 11-18-1793 in Virginia and died 10-5-1868. They were living in Jackson County, Ohio for the births of their eight children. Rebecca 1821, Isaiah 1826, Joseph 1828, Rachel 1830, Thomas 1832, Andrew Jackson Beard 10-17-1833, Elizabeth J. 1834, Margaret 1835. By the 1850 Census the whole family had moved to Clark County, Illinois. I would like to know if any Beards remain in Jackson County today that might tie into this family.
