When Lorenzo Dow died his younger brother married Lucinda plus Lucinda was married to a Joseph Short also NOW if you look in the 1860 census in Benton, Keokuk Co., Iowa you will see Joseph E. Dixon with Euphonia's parents her father an step mother and in 1860 Missouri Mary Jane Dixon is living next to her father Harrison Dixon and her step mom. NOW when Euphonia was killed Harrison put Joseph E. Dixon with Euphonia's sister Sarah Thomas and her husband Ebenezer Denny and Mary Jane Dixon is with her other sister
Catherine Thomas and her husband William Winfough all together in the 1850 census in Benton, Keokuk Co., Iowa and Lorenzo Dow was with another family member. You were right with the info you have BUT I have all this except Harrison Dixon's parents.
