Robert:

I thank you but my Harrison Dixon was born in 1820 and
I have found two Dixon family "clans" in two different parts of Liberty Township in the early 1800's. The family in "Our Book" is part of the family of at least three brothers, Jesse, Samuel and Joseph. It is noted that a Nathan Dixon lived there also. Jesse appears to have had three son, Abel,Joseph and Nathan. Samuel has at least one son, Elisha.

The other "clan" has brothers Daniel(1772), George(1778), and Jonathan(1776). Daniel had at least three children, George, Elias(1805-1880) and Nancy who married a Jacob Calver. Daniel's wife was Mary (1784-1848). Daniel died of the cholera in 1832. George had sons Nathan (1822), Daniel((1807), Silas (1805) George C.(1808) and perhaps a son Hiram (1815). George (senior) wife was Catherine Cox. No info onJonathan Dixon (1776). It is written that the above brothers, Daniel, George and Jonathan were sons of Caleb Dixon (1732-1785) and Hannah Gregg (1740-1789). Caleb and Hannah were from North Carolina.
