Bradley Cemetery - Robert and Mary Powers
Posted by: Ronald Powers (ID *****3283) Date: January 21, 2008 at 08:36:14

According to sketchy records in the London, OH public library, Robert and Mary Feagans Powers, are buried in a Bradley Cemetery in Madison county. I wonder if the cemetery still exists, and if so, whether there are any readable gravestones that would indicate the burial of Robert and/or Mary there, and the year of their death. Other records show different years of their deaths, some listing 1821, others 1823. They both were said to have died during an epidemic. The history of Madison county notes a major epidemic spanning 1822-23, but not 1821. Any help regarding information about the cemetery and/or the death years of Robert and Mary Feagans (sometimes erronously noted as Higgins) Powers would be appreciated.
