The earliest newspaper for Madison Co I believe is in the 1830's some time. We had one of our volunteers work for months and months going through every microfilm roll thru 1987 making a list of every obit during that time frame. I looked for one on Jane and there is no Jane Stroup listed in the book. I haven't looked for the others yet, but I volunteer there on Tuesday's. So if you could get me a list before then, I'll look. There is a web site that you can use that will be a big help, it's Madison Co Juvenile/Probate Court. Just make me a list what you need, cost is what it cost me, a quarter a copy for the microfilm reader.
