Hi Terry
Found the graves of Capt James and Sarah Denton Kilgore, they are buried in the old section of Paint twp Cemetery, also buried there is John Stroup and Rebecca his 1st wife.His 2nd wife was Isabell Withrow. Her sister Ann was the wife of Abraham Phiefer, who was in the census records living near Joseph and Jane Stroup.
Also related to the Withrow's were the Kemp family. In reading the Kemp history I find several marriages that might be to the Stroups.The last names are spelled differently.Schaub/Shoup
Frederick Kemp m.Regina Shoup 1744 Frederick Co MD
Hans Peter Kemp m Catherine Shoup about 1753 d/o Martin Schaub
Maria Sophia Kemp m Martin Shoup s/o Martin Schaub about 1753

You mention Gideon Peck, Isaac Hornbeck married Ann Peck d/o Henry and Hagar Carr Peck wonder if Gideon and Ann are related.
