This William Gano was 1850 census in Union Co., OH living next door to Jessie Ganow who was probably his father. They state they were born in Ohio but all other census for William he states he was born New York.
After the death of his first wife Emaline Burroughs William married Effie Tunis Lugenbeal in Marion and later moved to Pulaski, Indiana.
