Hi everyone,
My great-great-grandmother is Anna Winterhalder (born 27 Aug 1841 in Marion Co., Ohio) she married William Noble Hain in Marion County, Ohio in 1860. Anna's father was Joseph Winterhalder that immigated from Germany to the U.S. Anna's mother is unknown except that she was born in Germany. Anna has three other known siblings, Mary (born Mar 1840 in Ohio), John and Caroline (born Sep 1844 in Ohio) Winterhalder. Joseph remarried at one point (she is unknown also, she was born in OH) and had children, William Born Aug 1856 in OH), Alex (born Feb 1860 in OH) and Samuel Winterhalder. There is an marriage record in the Marion Co., Ohio archives between Joseph Winterhalder and a Rebecca Sullivan or Sulivan. I think this is Rebecca's 2nd marriage. I found a marriage record between a Rebecca Essex and a James Sullivan dated 14 Sep 1851 in Marion County.
