I'm not related to this family.

1910 - Russell is listed as "servant" but his occupation is "farm laborer'. It was not uncommon at that time for children to be sent out of the home to "earn their keep".
The family he is living with are in their 60's and needed help running the farm.

Remember that for death information, the deceased does not fill out the death cert. The informant does this and some times the information is - I think he/she was born XX/XX/YY.

The birth dates supplied by Ancestry are the result of simple math. That's why "ABT" is usually in front of the DOB. The government computed the age based on the "census year"; not the calendar yr. At the top of each census page it states when the census yr began & ends.

The SSDI indicates that Russell's last residence was Adena, Jefferson county, OH. His last benefit was mailed to Dillionvalle, Jefferson county, OH.

He may have died at a hospital or nursing care facility.

Consider ordering his death certificate from the county of death or directly from the state of OH. Do not use a 3rd party as you may receive an abbreviated death cert.

Where is Russell in 1930 ? ? ?
