Laura E. MINOR was Norman's second wife. He was married first to Carrie C. CARTER btwn Oct 1902 and May 1903. She is the mother of Norbert and another child who died before the 1910 census.
Carrie was born 21 Nov 1879 in Cleveland, the d/o Ida M. (nee LAUGHLIN) and William H. CARTER. Carrie died 4 Aug 1919 and is buried in Lake View Cemetery, Cleveland.

The above suggests that Laura was married previously and in the 1920 census she is Laura PENFIELD, married but the head of household in Willoughby, Lake, OH. In that census she had two children Louis A. 1 and Emma L. 6. Four doors from Laura is a roomer, Arthur Penfield, Jr., 36, married.
