In Reply to: Fred/Friedrich WOLLIN, Cleveland/Ohio, born 1851 near Stettin by Svenja Nitsche of 60103

I have located marriages on all the WOLLIN children, except Fritz, but some of the surnames may be spelled incorrectly. This may be due to a transcription error or the original name was spelled wrong.

Paul and Hattie CEGIELSKI about 1913
Clara and Leonard H. WLECKE about 1909
Ida and Fred PIEPER about 1917
Willie and Anna ELSE about 1923
Emma and John SCHUBERT about 1918

Mandley Funeral Home, 15480 Triskett Rd., at Lorain Ave. Services Saturday, May 13, at 10:30 a.m.

You didn't mention a Hattie and now I find she married Herman about 1904-05 and she was 74 when she died.

Id#: 0683454
Name: Rackow, Hedwig (Hattie)
Date: Jun 6 1958
Source: Cleveland Press; Cleveland Necrology File, Reel #148.
Notes: Rackow, Hedwig (Hattie) (nee Wollin), beloved wife of the late Herman C., mother of Norman, Herman and Mrs. Virginia Stebner, grandmother and great-grandmother, sister of Paul, Mrs. Clara Wlecke, Mrs. Ida Piper, Mrs. Emma Schubert and William, passed away Friday, June 6, residence 4207 W. 23 St. Friends may call at the G. H. Busch & Son Funeral Home, 4334 Pearl Rd., After 6 P. M. Saturday, where services will be held Monday, June 9, at 3 p. m.

If Hattie was a great-grandmother that line is most likely to have produced descendants that could be living now. Check http://genref.cpl.org/index.php?q=node/82 on how to check and order Cleveland obits.

If you live outside the U.S. and there is a problem on the library mailing you the obits, email me at luvzsun@aol.com and I will order them and scan them to you.
