Dear Bill,

thanks a lot for your help, I am really amazed about the amount of information that it is possible to find. I found a lot of obits on the Wollin-children in the Cleveland press. I believe the pre-1976 obits are full text, so I won`t have to order them, but IŽll try to order some of the newer ones (Hatties children), IŽll tell you if it doesn`t work (I live in Germany).
I didnŽt know about Hattie, because in the 1900 census they mentioned 6 children, and I thought the missing two were Paul and Fritz, but Fritz seems to have disappeared. Maybe he died young(and they misunderstood the question about the born and living children in the census).Another idea I had was that he might have returned to Germany. One of my great grandmothers (Wilhelmine Wollin who lived in Germany, sister of Friedrich) daughters married a Fritz Wollin who was said to have been a cousin. He died in 1930 and we have not found out yet who his parents were. Fritz was of course quite a common name, and there were two more brothers of Friedrich who stayed in Germany.

Thank you very much for your help. Your are not related in any way, are you?

Svenja
