In this 1900 census for Troy? Estella E. Allen was married to my cousin, John Oliver Van Tuyl (note the corrected spelling... as it appears on marriage records and in his obit).. one source lists Estella as Eureka E. Allen.. not sure if that's a mistake or if her name was Eureka Estella or vice versa? Estella had two children that I know of, Ralph Sherman Van Tuyl (1891-1964) and Ethel May Van Tuyl (1889-1943). Ethel May was sent to live with a guardian about 1895 which is why she isn't listed in this census... no idea as to why she was sent away and Ralph wasn't. John Oliver Van Tuyl was my g-grandmother's brother.
You're basically trying to make sure that the John / John T. listed in these census entries is "your" John Thomas Allen? Do you live anywhere near Troy? Obits or marriage or birth records are likely the best way to confirm this.
