Romaine Louise Miller, 95, of Marshall, passed away Thursday, Dec. 18, 2008, in Marshall, Texas. There will be a gathering from 2 - 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 21, 2008, at Meadowbrook Funeral Home. She was born Aug. 5, 1913, to John Joseph and Florence Louise Renner Frigge in Piqua, Ohio. Romaine was a precious member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church of Marshall where she was a member of the senior woman's group and of the prayer guild. She was a published poet with "To Touch Your Heart" to her credit. She and her husband, Otto, were in the hotel business and were gemologist in Denver, Colo. for over 30 years. She is survived by her daughter, Charmaine Rice and husband Donald of Marshall; four grandsons, James Leach of Hot Springs, Ark., Jay Leach of Lake Of The Pines, Jerry Leach and John Leach, both of Longview; seven great-grandhildren; four great- great-grandchildren; and many loving friends and family. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Otto; and her grandson Jeffrey Leach. Meadowbrook Funeral Home
