I am collecting information, Photo's and information on what was once the town of South Woodbury.
I have read and love A.S. Benedicts History of Peru township 1897 and the 1880 Baskins History as well as Atlas. From 1840 through 1950's there were two Methodists Churches there. I have colected the information that is avaiabe at the Mt. Gilead library Annex and Ohio Historical Society and the State Library of Ohio. I have aso gotten with the Alum Creek Friends, the most active church in the area. Any photo's woud be great. Also family connections to Clay, Doty, Osborn and Wolff famiies would be welcomed.
If you have additional leads I will welcome them.
Thanks.
