Daniel Cooley is my ggg-gerandfather who purchased a land patent in Canaan Twp. in 1821. He was there in 1830 and 1840 Censuses and died age 75 in 1845. His wife Elizabeth died the year before age 55. Daniels will lists one son (my gg-grandfather) Andrew Cooley, and his "other children." Is there anyone who suspects they might be related to this Daniel Cooley? I have hit a brick wall as to where Daniel Cooley and his wife may have come from. The land patent says Daniel was "of Ohio."
