My name is Robert Mackley and I am searching for relatives of Christian Macktley(Mackley) 1837-1900 (my great grandfather). Born in Germany, emigrated to Cardington Ohio, Morrow county Ohio. Married Anna Dick(Macktley)1841-1925 in Cardington, Ohio. They had 7 children,
Mary 1863-1887
John J. 1865-1929
Anna 1869-1924
Rosie 1870-1879
Christian 1873-1921
Charles 1878-1926
Ed 1881-1932(my grandfather)
The family changed the spelling of their name to Mackley and moved to Delaware Ohio in the late 1800's with the exception of the son Christian who moved to and is buried in Dublin Ohio under his original name(Macktley).
All the rest are buried with the mackley spelling in Glendale cemetary in Cardington Ohio except my grandfather Ed Mackley who is buried in 'Delaware Ohio, my birth place.
I can't find anyone now living with the last name Macktley. Thanks for your time.
