I am looking for more information about Robert Duncan who was living in Cardington Twp. in Morrow Co. of Ohio in 1850. I do not know of where he was prior since Robert Duncan does not show in the census for 1840 in Morrow Co, but that could be because Morrow Co. was not formed till 1848 from surrounding counties such as Knox, Marion, Richlan and Delaware. I checked the other counties which Morrow was formed from but found no Robert Duncan. Robert Duncan was born in 1813 in Pennsylvania. I am looking for his ancestors. I do know he was married to Anna McCartney the daughter of Robert McCartney and Lydia.
I know from one death record of Robert Duncan's son Perry that he was born in Akron, Ohio in 1843. Perry's full name was Jacob Perry Andrew Duncan who was my GG Grandfather who died in Muscatine, Iowa and is buried at Oakdale cemetery.
Anyone with information about the prior history of Robert Duncan and where he might have come from in Pennsylvania please post a response on genforum.
