Mary A (Morris)Tarpey b.1842 was born in Charlestown, Mayo, Ireland. According to her obituary she came to Lancaster Ohio in 1860. Her mother was Catherine Franey b.1825 and ? Morris. John Franey b.1821 lived next door to the Tarpey's in 1880. I believe John was Mary's uncle making Catherine(Franey)Morris his sister. Mary had three more siblings that I know of: John Morris b.1852 an unnamed sister that stayed in Ireland, and Catherine A (Morris)Daugherty b.1848-my great-great-great grandmother. This Daugherty line was from county Mayo as well and immigrated to Lancaster. Not to be confused with the Michael Daugherty the attorney living in Lancaster line. Hope this helps....I'm still looking for family in all the surnames.
