I am a descendent of Ezekiel Jenkins who lived in Putnam County, Ohio. His wife's name was Marth Henry. They married 06-15-1856 in Page County, Virginia. Ezekiel was born 1835 in Page County, Virginia and died after 1910 in Continental, Putnam County, Ohio. Marth was born in 1840 in Warren County, Virginia. They had 8 children: Sarah Elizabeth *06-15-1857), Thomas W. (1859), Mary (1860), Lewis (1862), Charles J. (1865), Andre (1870), Albert (1873) and Harvey (1877). Charles is the first one that I know was born in Ohio. The first three were born in Page County, Virginia. I'm not sure where Lewis was born.
Ezekiel's father was William Jenkins, born abt 1808 and died before 1860. He married Eve Ellen (last name unknown) - marriage date unknown. Ezekiel had a sister, Nancy Ellen Jenkins, born 1844 in Rockingham County, Virginia.
Martha Henry's father was John Henry, born abt 1813, and her mother was Rebecca Ann (last name unknown). Martha had 2 brothers, John (1844 - Warren County, Virginia), and JOseph S. (1851 - Warren County, Virginia). My grandmother remembers meeting "Grandma Jenkins" when she was about 10. She was less than 5 feet tall and smoked a corn cob pipe. Martha Henry Jenkins was my great, great, great grandmother.
