Is there anyone who knows the two Charles Doty that lived in Putnam. One Charles M. born 1869 the son of Cornelius and Cassander Doty. The other Charles W. his nephew, son of Andrew (son of Cornelius and Cassander Doty.) My aunt has uncovered a photo that looks like it should be a family picture. But there are too many people to be Charles W. family. The family is standing in front of a barn with C.W. DOTY 1912 on it. According to the census Charles W and his wife had no surviving children. But they did have cousins listed with them. They are also related to HARRIS family in the area if that helps.
I believe that the barn may still be standing indeed the farm may still be in the family. I think that I saw it when I passed thru there this last year. At the time I did not have a connection made to it.
