Hi Yes I knew Stone and Charley both, When we were growing up they live in a trailer house, at the back of the lot,next door to our house. I beleive it was Stone that sharpen hand saws for different people. Our name was Smith, and they would call my sister and I the Smith brothers cough drops. My brothers always like to watch him sharpen the saws. They would visted with them quite often, not sure how much they remember for they were quite young then.
Stone first lived there, and Charley live above where the H & M Store was. When they tore down the old store to build a new one. Charley got him a trailer and lived there. the neighbor lady Merl Cliffton done there wash for them. My mother done it for them a few times.
There was no bathroom in the trailers, many mornings I would see them walking very fast toward the city building in town. Where there were public restrooms.
