I'm looking for a marriage between James/Jim (middle name possibly Elmer) Davis and Lora Deterla (spelling of last name varies) in Scioto County, Ohio, most probably in the late 1920s. One uncited source I ran across listed a possible date of 24 June 1927 in Portsmouth, but I've never pursued this lead.
If anyone can be of help here, that would be awesome! I've never pursued the Davis line of my family, so this is 1/8th of my family tree that I have yet to tap into. I've found some potential leads that I've never chased down because I wasn't sure I had the right Davises, and this could help me get my footing enough to go chase down a marriage certificate.
