Thanks jc for the information.... however, I can't find a definite date of death for Jeanne.

We know that she came to America with Nicolas Valentin Marchal and they settled in Stark County, Ohio. By the time that Nicolas makes it to Darke County, Ohio, she is dead.

I have written the Canton Library looking for info, and they can't find anything on her.

We know that the two youngest girls, Mary and Jane, are born in America. It could be possible that she died after Mary was born. I haven't found a specific date for Mary's birth.
